Operasi Ketupat 2026: SECOM Indonesia Deploys 56 Personnel to Strengthen Lebaran Security

This year's Lebaran mudik season is not only a concern for the police. The private sector is also stepping in. SECOM Indonesia together with SECOM Bhayangkara officially launched Operasi Ketupat 2026 from March 16 to 27, 2026, deploying 56 personnel to strengthen security across their operational areas.

This move is in line with the national Operasi Ketupat 2026 carried out by Polri from March 13 to 25. National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, during a cross-sector coordination meeting at the PTIK Building in South Jakarta on Monday (2/3), announced that this year's operation carries the tagline "Safe Mudik, Happy Family." Polri has set up 2,746 posts across Indonesia — 1,624 for security and traffic control, 779 as rest and service stops for drivers, and 343 joint posts as operation command centers.

The total combined personnel from TNI-Polri and related agencies reached 161 thousand, with 185,608 secured locations under watch — including places of worship, tourist spots, shopping centers, bus terminals, seaports, train stations, and airports.

With 56 personnel alongside SECOM Bhayangkara, routine patrols are carried out on a fixed schedule to make sure every client area stays monitored. SECOM's operation runs slightly longer than the Polri version — ending on March 27 — to cover the holiday period that often extends beyond the official days off.

As 161 thousand combined personnel guard mudik routes and public facilities, 56 SECOM personnel carry out an equally important task: making sure client homes and properties remain safe until the owners return. The goal is simple — people can travel for mudik with peace of mind, celebrate Idul Fitri with their families, and not worry about the security they left behind.
